Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

Key Phases & Timeline

  • Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through the end of July.

Description of Work

  • Sewer cleaning and lining

Timing and Location:

  • Nighttime work on 6/26 from 9pm to 5am:

    • Park Ave between 30th St and Cantello St

    • Peter St between Hudson Ave and Park Ave

Traffic Information:

  • Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

  • Parking Restrictions: No Parking signs on both sides of the street.

  • Detours: None

  • Police Presence: Yes; two officers

Community Impacts:

  • Noise/Disruptions: Sewer lining could produce some short duration noise.
