H6/H7 CSO Long Term Control Plan Project - Phase 3 Traffic Management Activities: June 29 – July 3, 2026

Project Overview
The goal of the project is to reduce combined sewer overflows (CSO’s) and improve the water quality of the Hudson River. As part of the project, new storm sewer lines and curb inlets will be installed which will alleviate drainage and potential flooding issues in the northern H6 and H7 drainage basins in Hoboken.

Key Phases & Timeline

  • Work hours – 8:00am to 6:00pm

work Impact:

  • No parking will be in effect during milling, paving, and striping activities

  • Roads will be closed during milling and paving activities

Construction Activities:

Paving and Striping Activities for the project will begin and the anticipated schedule which is subject to change based on weather and progress is as follows. Streets will be closed to traffic during this work. There will also be Temporary No Parking to accommodate this work.

  • Monday, June 29, 8 am to 6 pm … Striping:

    • Clinton St (13th St to 14th St)

    • Grand St (13th St to 15th St)

  • Tuesday, June 30 … NO ROADWAY WORK – WORLD CUP GAME AT METLIFE STADIUM 5PM

  • Wednesday and Thursday, July 1 and July 2, 8 am to 6 pm … Paving and Striping:

    • 13th St (Adams St to Willow Ave)

  • Friday, July 3 … NO WORK – JULY 4 WEEKEND 

Note that there will be periodic curb and sidewalk restoration throughout the area however, roadways will remain open during this work.
