Hoboken City Council Congratulates NHSA as First in NJ To Complete CSO LTCP and Gain NJDEP Approval to Move Forward

On March 20th, the Hoboken City Council unanimously passed a Resolution congratulating NHSA on being the first in the State to complete its CSO Long Term Control Plan and gain the approval of the NJDEP. The Resolution was sponsored by Councilman Paul Presinzano.

NHSA’S Executive Director, Dr. Richard J. Wolff, expressed his gratitude for the Resolution and explained, "This is a comprehensive plan that will result in a progressively cleaner Hudson River and in further infrastructure improvements to mitigate flooding.

“As the first wastewater authority in the state to complete our CSO Long Term Control Plan and partner with NJDEP, we're paving the way for cleaner waterways and improved infrastructure in Hoboken and beyond. 💧💪

“A huge thank you to our dedicated team and community partners for their support in achieving this milestone. Together, we're making a positive impact on our environment and enhancing the quality of life for all.”
