Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

Key Phases & Timeline

  • Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through the end of July.

Work Period & Location

  • Nightime work officer on site 7pm to 5am from July 21st thru July 25th (AM):

    • 07/21/25 700A 47th ST

    • 07/22/25 4400 BERGENLINE AVE

    • 07/23/25 4705 BERGENLINE AVE

    • 07/24/25 4601 BERGENLINE AVE

Description of Work

  • Sewer lining

Traffic Information:

  • Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

  • Parking Restrictions: No Parking signs on both sides of the street.

  • Detours: None

  • Police presence: Yes

  • Noise/Disruptions: Sewer lining could produce some short duration noise.
