Collection System Improvements Contract 2 - Week of July 28th

Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

Key Phases & Timeline

• Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through the end of July.

Work Period & Location

• Nightime work 8pm to 4am from July 28nd PM thru August 1st AM:

  • 7/28–  43rd st & Bergenline Ave 

  • 7/29 – Bergenline between 12th St and Tournade Lane AND 35th St and Hudson Ave

  • 7/30 -  Bergenline avenue between 45th and 47th St

  • 7/31 –  PARK AVE and 34th St and Park Ave and 35th St

• Sewer lining

Traffic Information:

• Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

• Parking Restrictions: No Parking signs on both sides of the street.

• Detours: None

• Police presence: Yes

• Noise/Disruptions: Sewer lining could produce some short duration noise.
