Collection System Improvements Contract 2 - Week of June 15th, 2026

Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

• Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through the end of July.

Timing and Location:

• Nightime work 9pm to 5am:

  • 6/17 - 43rd street and Bergenline Ave 

  • 6/18 - Peter Street & Hudson Avenue

Traffic Information:

• Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

• Parking Restrictions: No Parking signs on both sides of the street.

• Detours: None

• Police Presence: Yes; two officers

Community Impacts:

• Noise/Disruptions: Sewer lining could produce some short duration noise.
