Collection System Improvements Contract 2 - Week of April 28th

Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

Key Phases & Timeline

• Sewer cleaning and CCTV beginning March and continuing into April.  Sewer lining beginning in May.

Work Period & Location

• Night work 4/28, 8:30pm setup active 9:00pm thru 5am:

  • Berganline and 12th St

  • Park Ave and 50th St

  • Park Ave between 30th St and Cantello St

  • Hudson Ave between 40th and 41st St

  • Peter St and Hudson Ave

Description of Work

• Cleaning and CCTV

Traffic Information:

• Road Closures: Applicable roads will be closed overnight by police for the duration of active work at that location.

• Parking Restrictions: None

• Detours: None

• Police presence: Yes

• Noise/Disruptions: Sewer cleaning could produce some short duration noise.
