NHSA Weehawken Infrastructure Project: September 17-19, 2025 (Final Phase)

Purpose of Project:
The Township of Weehawken has hired Underground Utilities Corporation to repair sidewalks and roads where stormwater sewer work was previously done.

Work Location:

• Hamilton Ave (Boulevard East → King St)

• Boulevard East (Hamilton Ave → 700 Boulevard East)

• Highwood Ave (Boulevard East → Hudson St)

• Corner of Hudson St, 300 ft east to Boulevard East

Description of Work:

• NHSA will begin Final Cleaning, TV and Video of the Existing Sewers for the Weehawken Infrastructure Project. This is the final phase of this construction project.

• Please note that this is the final phase of this construction project. With this in mind our operation will commence on September 17th, September 18th and September 19th from the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• During this period residents and businesses may experience traffic, walkway, driveway, pathways and or bike lane delays and potential obstructions. Please note however this is the final phase of Construction to take place in this area, and this concludes our operation within this corridor.

Traffic Information:

• Parking will be prohibited throughout the construction zones at all times. All Emergency Situations will be Addressed.

• Residents and businesses may experience traffic, walkway, driveway, pathways and or bike lane delays and potential obstructions.

• Notices will be posted throughout the affected areas during the construction process.

• Please be mindful of the working hours as specified within these notices.

• A supervisor From Underground Utilities Corp will be onsite to provide any further information on an as needed basis.
