NHSA H6/H7 Hoboken Phase 3 Construction and Traffic Management Activities: June 23rd – July 30th, 2025

Project Overview
The goal of the project is to reduce combined sewer overflows (CSO’s) and improve the water quality of the Hudson River. As part of the project, new storm sewer lines and curb inlets will be installed which will alleviate drainage and potential flooding issues in the northern H6 and H7 drainage basins in Hoboken.

Key Phases & Timeline

  • June 23rd to July 30th, 2025

  • Work hours – 8:00am to 6:00pm

  • Work Locations:

    • 13th Street between Adams Street and Clinton Street

    • Grand Street between 13th Street and 14th Street

Description of work:

  • Installation of sewer pipe, inlets, and manholes

  • Sidewalk, paver restoration and tree replacement at 13th Street and Grand Street

Traffic Management:

  • Road closure (24 hours, 7 days/week), however residences will be granted access.

  • HPD Officers will be present on site to assist in traffic redirection

  • No parking (24 hours, 7 days/week)
