NHSA Blvd East - Sidewalk and Pavement Restoration: June 16th - June 27th

Purpose of Project:
The Township of Weehawken has hired Underground Utilities Corporation to repair sidewalks and roads where stormwater sewer work was previously done.

Work Location:

  • Hamilton Ave – from Blvd East to King Ave

  • Highwood Ave – from Blvd East to El Dorado Place

  • Blvd East (N Bound)

  • Burr Pl

Description of Work:

  • The pump station will be milled and paved

  • Repair and Replacement of Granite Curbing along Hamilton.

  • Resetting the paver sidewalk in front of 1 Hamilton and placing topsoil

Traffic Information:

  • Temporary street closures (up to 8 hours) during work

  • There will be no parking on Hamilton Ave in the vicinity of the work zone between Blvd East and King Ave.

  • Hamilton Ave will be closed to through traffic during pavement and curb work

  • Traffic signs to be posted as necessary.
