NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 - Construction And Traffic Management Activities 01/08/2024 - 01/12/2024

Anticipated Construction Activities and Traffic Management for the NHSA H6/H7 Phase 2 project for the period 01/08/2024 through 01/12/2024 is as follows:

Construction Activities

• Test Pitting and Soil Sampling on 15th Street between Grand Street and Willow Avenue intersections including the intersections of 15th Street and Grand Street and 15th Street and Clinton Street.

Traffic Management

• Periodic lane shifts and/or lane closures along 15th Street and at the Grand Street and Clinton Street intersections. OEM will assist with traffic flow at these intersections for any closures.

• Per OEM request, both 15th Street intersections at Grand and Clinton will not be closed at the same time to allow for northbound traffic. 

• Necessary parking spots shall be blocked off by the Parking Authority before Construction Activities begin.

• Roadwork and lane shift notification signs shall be installed on 15th Street between Willow Avenue and Madison Street to alert drivers of the construction in the area.

• Periodic lane shifts on 15th Street as required to excavate the test pits. Lane shifts will be marked with traffic cones and OEM will assist with traffic flow in the area.

• There may be partial impacts to the sidewalks, however, safe passage for pedestrian traffic will be provided at all times.
