Join NHSA and guest expert Cam Kanterman for a guided native plant walk through Hoboken’s ResilienCity Park on Sunday, April 26 from 4 pm to 5 pm. Discover how native plants and green infrastructure work together to absorb stormwater, reduce runoff, and build a more resilient, sustainable city. 

Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or just curious about the plants growing in our community, this walk is for everyone! The event is free to attend with no registration required.

Public Information Meeting | November 13, 2025

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, the North Hudson Sewerage Authority held an in-person public information meeting from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the NHSA Board Room. The meeting covered NHSA’s long-term strategy for reducing CSO events and modernizing aging systems.

NHSA engineeers provided progress updates on key LTCP projects, including the H6/H7 Project, the Weehawken Infrastructure Project, the Adams Street Plant Outfall, the River Road Plant, and the Madison Street Infrastructure Project.

Following the presentation portion of the meeting, attendees were invited to tour the NHSA wastewater treatment plant with Operations Managers Mark Berube. The tour offered a behind-the-scenes look at the essential processes and technologies that keep the plant running, including a visit to the control room and lab..

On Monday, June 10, 2024, the North Hudson Sewerage Authority held an in-person public information meeting from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the NHSA Board Room. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss CSO Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) projects, provide general information about the LTCP, and answer questions. The meeting concluded with a tour of the Adams Street Wastewater Treatment Plant.
