Employee Spotlight: Sharon Jicha — 29 Years of Service

For nearly three decades, Sharon Jicha has been a trusted presence at NHSA. As Assistant Billing Supervisor, she spent 29 years supporting customers and municipalities with care and precision.

Sharon worked on final sewer bills, account adjustments, and payment agreements—bringing both technical expertise and empathy to every interaction. Her deep knowledge of NHSA’s systems, willingness to take on multiple responsibilities, and collaborative approach made her an invaluable resource to colleagues and customers alike.

One highlight of her career? Watching NHSA grow and seeing staff take on new responsibilities. Her leadership and teamwork strengthened the billing team and fostered a supportive workplace.

Her advice to new employees:

“Learn from each other, stay open-minded, and approach every customer with patience and understanding.”

As Sharon prepares for retirement, she looks forward to slowing down, traveling, and new adventures. Her legacy of dedication and professionalism will continue to shape NHSA for years to come.
