Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

Key Phases & Timeline

  • Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through the end of July.

Work Period & Location

  • Nighttime work 8pm to 4am from July 14th through July 17th:

    • 07/14/25-07/15/25 - 4705 BERGENLINE AVE to 4723 Bergenline avenue

    • 07/15/25-07/16/25 - 4400 BERGENLINE AVE  to 4617  BERGENLINE AVE

    • 7/16/2025 to 07/17/25 - 4601 BERGENLINE AVE to 4723 Bergenline avenue

    • 7/17/2025 to 07/18/25 - 521 12TH ST to 426 12th street, 426 12th street to 1213 Bergenline ave

Description of Work

  • Sewer lining

Traffic Information:

  • Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

  • Parking Restrictions: None

  • Detours: None

  • Police presence: Yes

  • Noise/Disruptions: Sewer lining could produce some short duration noise.
