Collection System Improvements Contract 4 - Week of October 27th

Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

• Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through mid-December.

• Monday - 10/27 

  Daytime - Preparing sanitary mains for lining in West New York

  Nighttime (8pm start) – Line sanitary mains on Adams St and 67thSt, West New York

• Tuesday - 10/28

  Daytime – Preparing sanitary mains for lining in West New York

  Nighttime (8pm start) – Line sanitary mains on 54th St, West New York

• Wednesday - 10/29

  Daytime – Preparing sanitary mains for lining in West New York

  Nighttime (8pm start) – Line sanitary mains on 58th St and JFK Blvd E, West New York

• Thursday - 10/30

  Daytime – Preparing sanitary mains for lining in West New York

  Nighttime (8pm start) – Line sanitary mains on 61st St and Palisades Ave, West New York

• Friday - 10/31

  Daytime – Preparing sanitary mains for lining in West New York

Description of Work

• Preparing sanitary main for lining, lining of sanitary sewer mains

Traffic Information:

• Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

• Parking Restrictions: No Parking signs on both sides of the street as needed.

• Detours: None

• Police presence: Yes

• Noise/Disruptions: Sewer lining could produce some short duration noise.
