Collection System Improvements - 3 Sewer Lining Schedule Week of August 24th, 2026

Purpose of Project:
Rehabilitation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of combined sewers, manholes and service connection in the Cities of Union City and West New York.

Key Phases & Timeline

• Sewer lining activities are expected to extend through the end of August 21st - August 24th.

Description of Work

• Dig and Replace Sewer Main as Required in preparation for lining project

Timing and Location:

• Monday 8/24 - Hudson Ave Between 61st & 62nd - Closest Address: 6109 Hudson Ave, West New York, NJ 07093

• Monday 8/24 - 56th St Between Jackson and Madison - Closest Address: 558 56th St, West New York, NJ 07093

Traffic Information:

• Road Closures: Police will be onsite to close the streets if needed.

• Parking Restrictions: No Parking signs on both sides of the street.

• Detours: None

• Police Presence: Yes; two officers

Community Impacts:

• Noise/Disruptions: Dig & Replace Sewer main could produce some short duration noise.
