Madison Street Infrastructure Improvements

The Madison Street Area Infrastructure Improvements project has been undertaken to mitigate localized flooding from rain events. To accomplish this, the project scope includes replacing existing inlets and sewer lines as well as elevating roadways, curbs, and sidewalks within the area. Ultimately, these improvements will alleviate the primary concerns by conveying the stormwater into the sewer system.

The following work and traffic management activities are anticipated for Monday, September 14th to Wednesday September 16th between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM:

Work Activities:

  • Madison Street between 9th Street and 11th Street

    • Sewer Video Inspection of 36” Sewer Pipe. 

Traffic Management Impacts: Subject to weather 

  • Madison Street between 9th Street and 11th Street

    • One Lane Traffic will be maintained.

  • Madison Street between 10th Street and 11th Street

    • One Lane Traffic will be maintained. 

Temporary Parking Impacts:

  • Madison Street between 9th Street and 10th Street

    • No parking on either side of the Street (Monday – Wednesday (7AM – 5 PM)

  • Madison Street between 10th Street and 11th Street

    • No parking on either side of the Street (Monday – Wednesday (7AM – 5 PM)
